The Beginning

My first official Prenatal Appointment is May 1st at the Austin Area Birthing Center. I am very excited to hear Baby's heartbeat for the first time! The last 3 weeks have been very rough, symptom-wise. I feel nauseated more often than not. I really wasn't expecting the nausea to be so severe, but it is about as bad as having the flu... for weeks on end. Most days I would rather just stay at home to be miserable, but I must keep working. Steve and I have had an overwhelming response from friends and family with congratulations and well-wishes. Everyone seems very confident in our ability to be good parents, which is reassuring! I would just like to feel better soon, so that Steve doesn't start getting annoyed with me!
